Our property appeals to all types of guests – regular folk up here on business or pleasure, travelling to surf, work, hike, kayak and fish. All have one thing in common. They look for accommodation that is affordable, with friendly, down-to-earth service, reliably clean rooms with a home-style feel and awesome location.

We have an outdoor contained cook shack on our property that has a barbeque, sink and meal preparation area for your use while staying with us. There are picnic tables and a propane crab pot for cooking up local crab.

If you are coming to the area for the world class hiking, surfing or wildlife that Ucluelet and Tofino have to offer, we’re a great place to rest.

West Coast Motel is walking distance to the Wild Pacific Trail, a 10 minute drive to Pacific Rim National Park and a short boat ride to the Broken Islands where some of the best whale watching takes place!

The best time for storm watching is November through March as gale force winds tear along the coast at over 70km an hour.
